Best Twin Stroller For Newborns

If you're expecting twins or two children that are close in age, a double stroller is essential. The best ones offer different ways for your children to ride, including side-by-side seating and the ability to attach a rider's board.

Lauren Ro, a writer and strategist, has a favorite is the Bugaboo Donkey 5 Mono, which adapts seamlessly as your family expands. It can hold two infant car seats as well an infant seat, making it a great option for twins starting at birth.

Bugaboo Donkey

This is the best twin stroller for families that are looking for a stylish and stylish double side-by-side stroller. It's a bit bigger than other Bugaboo strollers, but it feels solid and built to last. It has a handlebar which can be adjusted to extend and retract easily. It also has a great reach, so it is easy for my husband of 6'1 to push, even when fully loaded.

The seats are spacious and can be set up to place one child on top of the other or have the children face each one.  compact double buggy  can recline independently from each other. The canopies are huge, covering both seat fabrics when desired. But they don't have enough ventilation, which makes them appear like a small oven on hot days. There's no way to see your children.

One of the most distinctive features of this stroller is its ability to adapt to your family's needs from one seat (Mono mode) all the way up to a double side-by-side stroller. It is the only double stroller convertible that can do this. It can be used in conjunction with an additional bassinet or car seat for babies.

It is simple to use on smooth surfaces, and it can handle slopes and stairs well. It can be a challenge to maneuver through crowded stores and restaurants. It is also a little difficult to fold, especially when seats are tucked away. It is still compact and fits through most doors.

There is an extra storage bin that fits on the frame, next to the front seat in mono mode. This is great for groceries and other supplies. The main storage basket beneath the seats is big and can accommodate up to 100 pounds. This is more than any other stroller we have listed!

Uppababy Vista v2

This stroller is among the best twin strollers for newborns. It can be used with a variety of infant car seats and bassinets (adapters are sold separately) and can be used as a double stroller straight out of the box. It can even accommodate two infant car seats or bassets simultaneously if you purchase the Vista Upper and Lower adapters.

In comparison to the original Vista, the V2 has made a few changes to make it even better. The toddler seat has been raised by about half an inch, the footrest has been made larger and the canopy has an additional fabric extension that zips out. The harness is also modernized since it doesn't require re-threading. This makes it easier to adjust.

The stroller is fairly large wheels (8 inches in the front and 11.5'' in the back) with a sturdy suspension, which means it is able to easily navigate all kinds of terrain. The front wheels are made of rubber which makes them suitable for navigating gravel, rocks and cobblestones, while the rear wheels have more tread to tackle paths and grassy hills.

A child's bicycle can be attached to the front of the stroller. This is a great choice for parents who don't want to invest in a baby car seat. If you have a child who's old enough to stand up and walk, the Vista stroller can fit a third child with its piggyback board accessory.

The Vista is simple to use and set up, though it does take some time to unpack all of the protective packaging. The instructions are easy to follow, and there is a YouTube video if you need assistance in understanding the instructions.

In our Strollers & Multiples laboratory tests, Cortina Together received high scores for ease of use. This is based on how easy it is for you to fold and set up the stroller. It also includes the ease with which it is for you to open and close the snack tray and engage and disengage the brakes, raise the stroller that is folded and carry it like the trunk of a car.

We did find some drawbacks to this model, though. First, it's heavy. It weighs 36.6 pounds when fully loaded and puts it closer to the extreme end of our measurement. In addition, it is not able to see clearly in the back seat when the car seat is in place. The front tray release isn't always easy to use, particularly after prolonged usage. However, despite these issues, we consider this to be a great stroller to have for your family.

Its aluminum frame is light along with the foam handles and straps for carrying make it one of the easiest to lift double strollers that we have tested.

This stroller with a side-by-side design offers independently reclining seats and foot rests to provide maximum comfort for both children. The canopy is large enough to provide UPF 50 sun protection. It has a peekaboo window that allows to allow for easy monitoring. We wish the canopy was vented for extra airflow, though. We also weren't thrilled that the cup holder sits very high on the frame, meaning you'll have to bend to reach it.

In our tipping-test it was found that the Jeep tipped over at a 39 degree angle, which is more than the average for a double pram. It's heavier than the average, but offers more storage for the price. The handles and seats are also well-padded.

This stroller is multi-functional and has three modes. It can be used as a wagon (for stuff) as well as a the jogger mode (with two 5-point safety belts for kids), or car seat mode. It can accommodate one car seat for infants, however, pediatricians recommend waiting until your child is 6 months old before jogging with them and one year old before taking them on rough terrain.
